Blossom Montessori School, Ottawa

Our new Montessori school is seeking qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team and create a stimulating learning experience for children ages 18 month-old to 3 year-old, starting November 2025.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Lead Teacher in running & maintaining a Montessori environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
  • Follow the direction of the Lead Teacher on supporting Montessori lessons.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom materials.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
  • Collaborate to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
  • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities inclusive of the Montessori curriculum.
  • Model integrity, curiosity, responsibility, creativity and respect for all persons as well as an appreciation of cultural and diversity.
  • Support Lead Teacher with parent-teacher conferences twice each year.
  • Ensure the safety and physical well-being of the students at all times.

Successful candidates have:

  • ECE certification and in Good Standing with the CECE in Ontario
  • First Aid certification
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in childcare setting
  • Montessori knowledge (preferred)
