Terra Nova is looking for a Legal Documentation Support Specialist to join our growing legal transcription team. In this role, you'll help manage workflow, ensure quality, and keep client projects moving smoothly from start to finish.

This position is a remote position ideal for someone with legal transcription or court reporting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Review incoming jobs and assign work based on deadlines and complexity.
  • Track progress and ensure turnaround times are met.
  • Review completed transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client standards.
  • Manage the final review and return-to-client process.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain clear documentation for workflow and quality procedures.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and route communication appropriately.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in legal transcription or court reporting (required)
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, transcript formatting, and quality standards
  • Experience with transcription workflows or production coordination
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and reliable

Additional Details

  • Pay rate: $ per hour depending on experience
  • Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Experience with MaxScribe software and proficiency with Excel preferred
  • Applicants must complete an assessment to verify legal transcription or court reporting experience
