Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to the creation of delicious meals and providing excellent food service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Cook dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after shifts
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
  • Support other kitchen staff as needed in various food preparation tasks
  • Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on serving customers promptly and professionally
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings if required
  • Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates
