We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst to turn complex data into clear insights that drive strategic decisions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data visualization, process optimization, and digital transformation. You'll collaborate across departments to build impactful dashboards, ensure data integrity, and support automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards with advanced features
  • Automate and streamline data processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations
  • Support digital transformation initiatives
  • Maintain data governance standards

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and Excel
  • Experience with Power Query, DAX, and M language; Familiarity with integrating data from APIs, SharePoint, and databases
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and best practices
  • Experience working with technical or engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work full-time on site at our client's downtown Edmonton office
