Stockdales is synonymous with motors, variable speed drives, and gearing sales and services, being the leading distributor of electric motors in Saskatchewan and providing comprehensive electric motor repair and rewind services. Stockdales is also known as a leader in designing, building, and servicing industrial controls, as well as providing a wide range of design and manufacturing services including power distribution, variable speed drive solutions, PLC, and HMI programming.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team of professionals as an Inside Control Sales & Technical Support.

What you will be doing:

The Inside Control Sales & Technical Support is a key position with the company and interacts with customers and performs the following duties to be executed in a timely manner. These duties include:

Sales of industrial electric controls, variable speed drives and related product

  • Application of electrical knowledge and experience to customers motor control requirements including starters and VFD's
  • Developing customer relationships in order to increase sales and provide quality solutions
  • Coordination and communication with customers for repair of electric motors
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving department
  • Assisting with warehouse inventory management
  • Other duties, as required

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail orientated and very organized
  • Work well in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively alone and collaborate as a team
  • Outgoing and energetic personality
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience and knowledge of electric motors and controls
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
