The Role:

As a result of continued robust growth, we are seeking a result-orientated, energetic individual to join our Remote Feeding Team in Blacks Harbour, NB

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feeding salmon from a central location
  • Following company feed strategies
  • Monitoring fee, environmental conditions and fish behaviours
  • Recording daily production data
  • Communications with site crews on daily activity and issues

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in feeding fish at seawater sites highly desirable, but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma preferred
  • Advanced computer skills (confident using software, word and spreadsheets, email etc.
  • Good work organization and daily planning skills; action-oriented.
  • An eye for detail and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can work independently or part of a team.
  • Must be reliable & keep to a schedule
