Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
• Utilize dental iTero technology for procedures when applicable.
• Manage pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication tailored to children's needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health records systems such as Abeldent and Dexis.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and training.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Abeldent and Dexis for charting and patient management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
• Familiarity with dental procedures, materials, and equipment required for comprehensive dental care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
