As a Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement and retention. This role involves managing marketing budgets, forecasting and performance. You will work both with local and central teams ensuring the alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable results.

What you'll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Annual marketing budget and forecast review
  • Developing and managing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Overseeing allocation and managing of annual and monthly budgets
  • Leading and mentoring local marketing and acquisition team with a high-performance environment
  • Tracking and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns providing insights and recommendations in optimizations
  • Preparing detailed reports for key stakeholders, presenting data -driven insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Creating and nurturing key relationships both with existing and new partners to generate growth alongside a centralised acquisition channel
  • Approving commercial negotiations and onboarding new marketing deals
  • Working operationally in all marketing channels within the business to optimise the ROI for the market and ensure best practise
  • Working with the acquisition marketing administrators to ensure that core processes are adhered to
  • Working across departments to align country strategy and meet business objectives.
  • Supporting Head of Country/Central acquisition teams' budget and operational cost control to achieve ROI requirements for the business
  • Driving key processes such as conversion, product enhancements and marketing offers forward, as well as working closely with the wider team.

Essential skills you'll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • Significant experience with digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of SEO
  • Experience with mobile marketing
  • Experience with social media channels
  • Passion for sport and the entertainment industry
  • Strong experience with programmatic and display media campaigns
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast paced and pressurised environments

Desirable skills you've got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds understanding, betting types and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
  • Casino knowledge
  • Games, gambling or iGaming experience
