Job Title: Patient Coordinator and Administrative Assistant

Based at: Dermatology on Bloor, 29 Park Road, Toronto, ON

Reports to: Medical Director and Practice Administrator

Hours: Part-time Monday – Thursday, 12:00pm - 5:00pm FLEXIBLE (potential to become full-time)

  • Manage high volume of incoming client calls with a rapid response rate and the utmost professionalism and efficiency
  • Manage a high volume of emails providing prompt, professional, and friendly service to clients and inquirers by email.
  • First point of contact for new patient inquiries
  • Update, prepare and file client EMR charts
  • Perform routine clerical tasks and general administrative support to medical and cosmetic staff
  • Operate a variety of standard office machines, including a computer, scanner, a variety of computer software, phone, fax, calculator, shredding machine, and photocopy machine.

Qualifications

  • College diploma/Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a busy medical office or hospital setting
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Accuro is a plus
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks
  • Must be a team player and be able to receive instruction from multiple sources
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills a must

Hourly Rate

Starting at $ $22.00 per hour

Work Remotely

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
