About The Role
As the IT Manager for Canada, you will serve as the overall technology lead for Reckitt's operations in the country. You will be responsible for managing all local IT demands, leading strategic and operational projects, and acting as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders across functions. This role ensures that global and regional IT strategies are effectively localized and executed to support business growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
Your responsibilities
- Manage IT operations in the country
Serve as the point of escalation for all IT-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
Drive adoption of IT&D Solutions
Understanding of commercial business processes
Coordinate with Area and Global IT&D teams to drive deployment, adoption of IT&D solutions
- Value Realization & Program Scaling
Partner with business teams to maximize value from deployed solutions.
Work with functional teams to scale key programs across the Area.
Support day-to-day cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless technology enablement.
Own the end-to-end IT agenda for Canada, aligning local needs with global and Area strategies.
- Demand Management & Business Partnering Act as the single point of contact for Canadian business units to capture, assess, and prioritize IT demands. Translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.
- Project Delivery & Execution Lead the planning and execution of IT projects across commercial, supply, and corporate functions. Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with measurable business impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with local leadership, functional heads, and global IT teams. Communicate with IT strategy, progress, and value clearly and consistently.
- Operational Excellence Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, and end-user support. Ensure service levels, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Global-Area-Local Integration Represent Canada in Area and global IT forums and ensure local adoption of enterprise platforms, cybersecurity protocols, and data governance frameworks.
Work integrated with the rest of the North America team on strategic and operational priorities
- Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance user experience through technology.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the IT function.
- Budget and Financial management of IT spends, infrastructure, programs etc.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles in multinational environments
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional IT projects and stakeholder relationships
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Azure), infrastructure, and digital tools
- Experience in FMCG or consumer goods or similar industry
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills
