Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sign Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and craftsmanship, with the ability to produce high-quality signs that meet our clients' specifications. This role involves working with various materials and techniques to create visually appealing signage for a range of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create custom signs using various materials, including vinyl, aluminum, metal, and acrylic.
  • Operate equipment such as vinyl cutters, printers, and engraving machines to produce signage.
  • Loading and transporting signs, tools, and materials to the location safely.
  • Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections.
  • Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of the sign.
  • Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.
  • Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.
  • Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Measure and install signs at client locations, ensuring accuracy and quality in placement.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques to enhance sign-making skills.
  • Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products such as box sign, awnings, channel letters, pylon structure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sign making or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during sign installation.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
