We are looking for a Team Leader, Stores (shift work) to supervise the unionized employees, oversee the receipt, dispatching and storage of Aircraft Parts and Tooling along with administrative functions. They will oversee, mentor, evaluate, reward and discipline staff. They will ensure the maintenance of company assets.
To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Top applicants are dedicated, competent and have strong leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Warehouse Management experience in a Unionized environment in combination of being a bachelor's degree holder in Aviation Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional industry experience of 7+ years (non-Degree holders)
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Ability to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identification Card) (To be obtained upon employment)
- Valid drivers' license and ability to obtain Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP).
- Proficient computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Available to work extended hours and shift work.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and development skills.
- Customer focused.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Nous recherchons un chef d'équipe – Magasins (travail par postes) pour superviser le personnel syndiqué, surveiller la réception, la répartition et l'entreposage des pièces d'avion et des outils, et pour assurer des fonctions administratives. Le titulaire du poste supervise, encadre, évalue et récompense le personnel et applique des mesures disciplinaires, au besoin. Il assure l'entretien des biens de l'entreprise.
Pour bien remplir ses fonctions, le titulaire doit effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois dans un environnement dynamique où le rythme est rapide. Le candidat idéal est dévoué et compétent, en plus d'avoir des qualités de chef marquées et de solides compétences en communication.
Qualifications:
- Plus de cinq ans d'expérience en gestion d'un entrepôt dans un environnement syndiqué, en plus d'être titulaire d'un baccalauréat en gestion de l'aviation, en gestion des opérations ou en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement; pour les candidats sans diplôme, plus de sept ans d'expérience dans l'industrie.
- Excellente compréhension des procédures de gestion d'un entrepôt.
- Connaissance approfondie des inventaires et des contrôles des stocks.
- En mesure d'obtenir une carte d'identité de zone réglementée (CIZR), une fois embauché.
- Permis de conduire valide et en mesure d'obtenir un permis d'exploitation de véhicules côté piste (AVOP).
- Solides compétences en informatique.
- Compétences exceptionnelles en communication, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
- Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de leadership et d'organisation; capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à résoudre les problèmes.
- Solides compétences pour les relations humaines.
- Disponible pour faire des heures supplémentaires et travailler par postes.
- Compétences exceptionnelles en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, ainsi qu'en encadrement et perfectionnement du personnel.
- Attitude axée sur le client.
- Faire preuve de ponctualité et de fiabilité pour soutenir le succès global de l'équipe dans un milieu trépidant.
