Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically minded Video Content Creator to join our team and help produce engaging training and product videos for our MikroTik Canada YouTube channel.

The ideal candidate has strong video editing and scriptwriting skills, is comfortable with Final Cut Pro, and understands basic computer networking concepts. You'll work with our technical team to transform product specs, training materials, and RouterOS topics into professional, educational videos and short-form content that inspire and educate viewers.

Responsibilities

  • Produce training and product videos using Final Cut Pro, Keynote (or PowerPoint), and other modern video tools (e.g., Google Vids).
  • Write engaging scripts from technical documents and team input.
  • Record or integrate voiceovers, background music, and sound effects to deliver polished results.
  • Create shorts/reels and highlight clips from long-form videos for social platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers and trainers to ensure technical accuracy and visual clarity.
  • Design slides and infographics consistent with our MikroTik Canada branding.
  • Manage YouTube uploads, optimize titles, descriptions, and tags for visibility.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery of all video content.
  • Stay current with trends in video production, AI-based tools, and educational content design.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in video editing and content creation, preferably with a tech or training focus.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Skilled with Final Cut Pro and presentation software (Keynote or PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and enthusiasm for learning about MikroTik hardware and RouterOS.
  • Scriptwriting and storytelling ability for technical subjects.
  • Knowledge of YouTube production standards and short-form video trends.
  • Experience with voice recording, camera setup, and sound editing is an asset.
  • Reliable, consistent, detail-oriented, and passionate about visual education.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative creative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
