Job Overview

We are seeking friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring smooth service operations, and delivering exceptional food industry experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow
  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling
  • Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
  • Ensure tables are clean and set up properly for new guests
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Support team members in various food service tasks to ensure efficient restaurant operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and transactions
  • Ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
