About the Role

As the Finance Director, you'll be a strategic leader and trusted advisor, shaping the financial future of Andar Software. You'll work closely with the executive team, influencing decisions that drive growth and profitability. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building scalable financial operations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all financial activities, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Drive process improvements and champion new technologies to modernize financial operations.
  • Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership, helping shape company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all financial operations.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with department heads to set ambitious yet achievable targets.
  • Deliver clear, actionable financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and all relevant regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls.
  • Monitor KPIs and leverage data to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Drive business and process transformation, streamlining workflows and supporting data-driven decisions.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15 and 16).
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology-driven businesses is a plus.
  • Canadian accounting experience is an asset.
