Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team with this part time position. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding service in person and over the phone; take floral orders, answer questions, resolve concerns.
  • Display Maintenance: Organize and refresh floral displays to maintain an attractive and vibrant presentation.
  • Plant Care: Water and care for flowers and plants based on specific needs.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized floral area, dispose of waste, and manage supplies.
  • Product Handling: Unpack, process, and stock floral, plant and merchandise shipments.
  • Pricing: Ensure accurate labeling and pricing of products.
  • Store Operations: Assist with store setup and breakdown as needed.
  • Availability to work days, evening and weekends.

Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and handle products and materials, up to 40lbs.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation; ability to prioritize tasks
  • Gardening experience or a love of flowers preferred
  • Creative, artistic mindset a strong asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.42 per hour
