Optimizing supply chain efficiency requires a strategic approach that streamlines processes and enhances collaboration. As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales efforts across the US and Canada.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary focus will be on working closely with Account Executives to comprehend clients' needs, design tailored solutions, and present value propositions that meet those demands. This involves:
- Accurately assessing the technical suitability of our solution and collaborating with Account Executives during sales qualification.
- Engaging in effective discovery by listening actively, demonstrating curiosity, and posing open-ended questions.
- Providing timely and professional responses to RFPs and RFIs, coordinating with relevant teams when necessary.
- Conducting site visits as needed to observe client operations, assess hardware requirements, and gather insights from stakeholders and users.
- Partnering with the Account Executive and opportunity team to develop winning strategies.
- Collaborating with clients and the opportunity team to create meaningful demonstrations around our platform and solutions.
- Clearly articulating the impact of our solution as a business enabler for clients' stakeholders and securing buy-in.
- Staying up-to-date with technical customer success stories across core verticals and communicating them effectively.
- Understanding and leveraging technical differentiators to outperform competitors.
- Establishing credibility as a trusted advisor and technical expert with clients.
- Demonstrating knowledge of warehouse automation capabilities and offerings.
- Seeking opportunities to facilitate smooth progress through the buying journey and encourage internal sales within clients' organizations.
- Effectively collaborating across the organization and driving feedback from the field back into the organization.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 5+ years of experience in Presales or similar customer-facing roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related fields (a plus).
- Good understanding and knowledge of supply chain logistics processes.
- Comfort level working across multiple verticals, including distributors, health systems, and 3PL providers.
- Practical experience in Supply Chain Logistics is considered an asset.
- Desirable experience and knowledge of Warehouse Automation use cases.
- Ability to learn quickly and gain proficiency with our solution capabilities.
- Capacity to work independently without direct oversight or guidance.
- Self-motivation and a drive to seek out knowledge on industry, solution, technology, and more.
- Ability to manage multiple sales campaigns simultaneously.
- Possesses strong presentation skills and can engage audiences effectively.
- Able to convey complex concepts in a simple, user-friendly manner.
- Calm under pressure and able to confidently handle customer questions and objections.
- Positive attitude focused on problem-solving and making the complex possible.
- A team player who collaborates enthusiastically and shares best practices with peers.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
