About the Role

As an iMaths Course Instructor, you will introduce young learners (ages 3–7) to early mathematics through hands-on activities, games, creative thinking exercises, and problem-solving tasks. iMaths is a foundational program designed to build cognitive skills, logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and early numeracy in a fun, interactive environment.

This role offers experience in early childhood education, classroom engagement, and delivering a structured curriculum designed to spark curiosity and confidence in young children.

Requirements

  • Legally Entitled to work in Canada
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 1-year commitment
  • 6-8 hours of volunteer service required (paired with senior instructors & trained before official certification)
  • Pursuing or completed a college or university program
  • Experience working with young children is an asset
  • Background in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp leadership is helpful but not required
  • Strong ability to engage, motivate, and guide early learners
  • Comfortable learning structured teaching methods and following curriculum processes
