Automates complex business processes end-to-end, 

Optimizes operational workflows for advisors and customers, and 

Powers autonomous agents that free teams from repetitive, manual tasks.

• Develop and Deploy AI Models: Build, fine-tune, and optimize Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, NLP pipelines) for real-world use cases.
• API & Application Development: Create and maintain APIs and microservices using FastAPI or similar frameworks to integrate AI into business workflows.
• Experimentation & Prototyping: Rapidly prototype new ideas, test hypotheses, and iterate on solutions.
• Data Preparation & Processing: Clean, transform, and manage large datasets for training and inference.
• Model Evaluation & Monitoring: Implement evaluation metrics, monitor performance, and ensure models meet quality and compliance standards.
• Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency across the AI lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and business partners to deliver production-ready solutions.

• Technical Expertise in:
  • GitHub, Large Language Models, Lang chain Framework, AWS Bedrock, FastAPI, NLP Text Analysis, Machine Learning, Text Data Processing
• Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks
• Problem-solving mindset: Ability to debug, optimize, and deliver robust solutions.
• Good communication: Explain technical concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in AI/ML development or related fields; advanced degree preferred.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
