Job Description

This position requires a self-motivated individual to provide a high level of quality pricing including proposal documentation for bid packages to customers for commercial projects of all levels of complexity and size. The candidate will follow proven project quotation and proposal process to deliver value to our customers in a timely and accurate manner to the highest industry standards.

Duties

  • Qualify viability of project opportunity with assigned branches
  • Work in partnership with selected vendors
  • Work closely with branch and account managers
  • Provide completed documentation of packages in timely manner
  • Provide follow up on projects and answer any questions pertaining to submitted proposals
  • Answer customers and branch questions and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain and strengthen supplier and customer working relationships.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability / skills to read single line drawings
  • Excellent communicational and organizational skills required
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with closing deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, adobe
  • Must be personable, sales orientated and possess a great work ethic
  • Strong initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility

Additional skills considered strong assets

  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical industry and products
  • Technical knowledge of electrical distribution products and solutions
  • Established vendor/ customer relationships
