Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to join our team in Calgary. In this role, you will oversee shop operations and ensure that fleet repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily shop activities and manage staff assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with management to align shop resources with company needs.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment for maintenance needs.
  • Train new employees on shop procedures and safety protocols.
  • Oversee and mentor apprentices.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
  • Qualifications
  • Licensed Journeyman Automotive Technician with a minimum of five years working experience as a journeyman.
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
  • Experience with a variety of vehicles and equipment an asset
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46.25-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
