Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No evenings or weekends)

We are a well-established Financial Planning firm with multiple advisors seeking a Full-Time Insurance Service Coordinator to support our growing team. This is an in-office, administrative support role focused on coordinating and processing insurance cases for our advisors.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the insurance industry and a strong understanding of insurance products and processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between clients, advisors, and insurers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process insurance applications for Term, Permanent, Group, Disability, and Accident & Sickness insurance.
  • Prepare and maintain client files, reports, and case summaries.
  • Create and manage Excel spreadsheets to track applications, renewals, and follow-ups.
  • Handle group plan renewals, quotes, and administrative updates.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain all paperwork electronically.
  • Coordinate with advisors to support ongoing client projects and tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the insurance industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Term insurance
  • Critical illness insurance
  • Group plan administration
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Permanent insurance
  • Disability insurance
  • Accident & Sickness
  • Experience processing investments is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French is an asset).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF tools, and CRM software.
  • 40+ WPM typing speed is an asset.
  • LLQP license isnot required, but considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with fund comparison and financial planning software is beneficial.
