Pathfind has an immediate opening with a well-established Public Practice Firm. They are seeking a collaborative Valuation Specialist. The Valuation Specialist will be responsible for providing business valuation and transaction advisory services to a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of business valuations, due diligence assignments and financial analysis in respect to transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax filings.
  • Consult with clients, client's counsel, and representatives of companies
  • Analyzing and interpreting clients' financial and non-financial information
  • Objectively identify risks and opportunities that drive value for the
  • Conduct related industry
  • Obtain a basic understanding of our clients' businesses and learn their best
  • Advising on purposeful recommendations to clients
  • Represent client at networking and industry events to leverage new business
Requirements:
  • CPA designation
  • CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm
  • Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations and financial models.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and legal documents in a financial environment
  • Experience leading and mentoring

  • Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Suite
The salary range is $100,000 to $120,000 depending upon experience.
