Your role
You will be the architect of intelligent solutions that turn operational challenges into high-performance automated systems. From design to commissioning, you will lead innovative projects, optimize SCADA platforms, and integrate advanced technologies to maximize the reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the design of complex technical systems and ensure smooth communication by writing clear documentation and offering tailored training.
Main responsibilities
- Lead automation projects from A to Z: you will analyze needs, design innovative solutions, configure, test, and commission high-performance systems.
- Program data concentrators, PLCs, and smart equipment: you will master advanced technologies to optimize industrial processes.
- Diagnose and optimize SCADA platforms: you will maximize the reliability and performance of monitoring and control systems.
- Contribute to the design of complex technical systems: you will work on aspects such as power supply, interfaces, and telecommunications.
- Translate technical or operational needs into concrete, sustainable, and effective solutions: you will provide innovative responses to industrial challenges.
- Write clear documentation, deliver training, and explain technical concepts: you will ensure smooth and accessible communication within the team.
- Actively participate in large-scale projects, both in Canada and internationally.
What will make you successful here
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of training.
- A valid engineering license in Ontario.
- Experience in a similar sector (energy, automation, industrial IT, SCADA, etc.) to fully understand our technical challenges.
- Curiosity, method, and autonomy, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong mastery of complex technical systems and the ability to work comfortably in multidisciplinary environments.
- Clear and confident communication skills, whether collaborating, explaining concepts, or advocating for innovative solutions.
- Bilingualism (English/French), as some client resources and software are available only in English.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a vehicle as part of your duties. The company will provide reasonable accommodations for employees with temporary or permanent limitations when possible and without causing undue hardship.
