Live-In Caregiver – Maple, Vaughan, ON

Rate: $210 per day

Start Date: October 16, 2025

Schedule: Live-in, 7 days/week

Client Profile:

  • 89-year-old female with diabetes
  • Limited mobility (uses a walker)
  • Lives alone

Responsibilities:

Personal Care Support:

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide supervision and support during mobility and transfers
  • Continual fall prevention monitoring due to high risk

Meal Support:

  • Plan and prepare diabetic-friendly meals
  • Assist with feeding if required

Medication Support:

  • Provide medication reminders and basic oversight of medication schedules

Household Duties:

  • Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for ambulation

Companionship & Emotional Support:

  • Engage the client in friendly conversation
  • Encourage light physical activity within safety limits

Work Schedule:

  • Live-in care for 7 days per week
  • Caregiver will reside on-site
  • Rotational relief to be coordinated if applicable
