The team at Thornhill Family Smiles Dental located in Thornhill, ON is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a part-time basis.

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in patient services. We are looking for either Tuesdays or Wednesdays as we are flexible. The individual will assist dentists during examinations and procedures, prepare and Sterilize instruments, take dental radiographs(xrays) and uphold safety and infection control protocols.

SCHEDULE:

  • 8-9 hours per week
  • Tuesdays or Wednesdays we can work with individual's schedule

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
  • Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
  • 1 year of experience is required
  • Experience with dental practice management software such as Abeldent is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset
