He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.We are growing rapidly and we're looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with usWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a Store Manager to join us on a full-time, 6 month contract to lead store activity in the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory accuracy, stock organization, meeting sales/targets, as well as ongoing coaching for staff.The Store Manager plays an integral role in developing a loyal customer base and is accountable for ensuring an exceptional customer experience through team development and leading by exampleThis role will be based out of our Square One store.WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLESupervise all staff within your location and oversee employee relations, sales, merchandising, customer experience, and all operational functionsMonitor and motivate the store team to meet and exceed DECIEM key performance indicatorsStrategize and complete revenue calendar on a daily and monthly basis to report sales figures to the Area Sales ManagerPartner with Recruitment and Area Sales Manager to hire and onboard new team membersHost effective and objective pre-shift meetings to outline daily goals, company updates, success and challenges to ensure the full store team is aligned, focused, and up to dateCoach, counsel, and provide constructive feedback to all store staff. Provide on-the-spot feedback to the team to ensure clear communication and expectations are setPartner with local HRBP and Area Sales Manager to resolve all employee relations mattersWeekly/monthly 1-1 meeting with the team to discuss and update professional development and personal goals.Attend weekly manager meetings and 1-1s with Area Sales Manager to discuss store/team needs, successes, challenges, and opportunities.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONELove of beauty products and a passion for skincare.Comfortable in engaging customers and applying products with the customer while providing consultations.Ability to multi-task, while providing professional and outstanding customer service.5+ years of customer service/ retail experience is required2+ years of people management or work in a leadership role is requiredWHAT YOU'LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAMThere's a lot of good stuff that comes along with being a DECIEM team member.
