Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We're seeking skilled Pipefitters (Journeyman & Apprentices) to join our roster. Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility construction, pipeline construction, maintenance, turn arounds, and shutdowns is required. Please ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for oil and gas operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Perform inspections, tests, and repairs on piping systems
  • Wear PPE and observe health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb and work at heights over 10 feet, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to work both independently and with others to support a safe work environment
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)
  • Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation is an asset

Certifications Required:

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal or Valid Apprenticeship
  • H2S Alive
  • Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Preference given to applicants with additional experience and safety tickets, such as:

  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Abstract
  • Confined Space Entry & Monitor
  • Fall Protection
  • Aerial Work Platform
  • Ground Disturbance Level II
