The Role:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for industrial multi-trade projects (millwrighting, equipment relocation, electrical, fabrication, welding, pipe fitting)
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to develop scopes of work
  • Perform site visits, job walks, and field measurements as needed to support accurate pricing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to validate scope, methods, and material requirements
  • Prepare material lists, labour breakdowns, and subcontractor RFQs
  • Review subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of estimating experience in a multi-trade environment
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean record
  • Willing to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario
  • Competent with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Licensed millwright or relevant trade experience is an asset, but not required
