Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative interior projects, utilizing a diverse set of digital and visual design skills. The ideal candidate will assist in developing compelling visual concepts, creating detailed design presentations, and supporting project execution from concept through completion. A strong foundation in graphic design, 3D modeling, and visual arts is essential to thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing interior design concepts using digital design tools and software.
  • Create detailed sketches, renderings, and visual presentations for client proposals.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for graphic and visual design tasks.
  • Develop motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects or Maya to enhance project presentations.
  • Support the team with 3D modeling and visualization using SketchUp, CAD, or similar software.
  • Collaborate on typography and layout design for project documentation and marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the development of visual arts paintings or sketches that complement interior concepts.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing visual support and presenting design ideas effectively.
  • Assist with construction painting and other physical project elements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in digital design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Maya, SketchUp, and CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of typography, visual design principles, and graphic arts.
  • Experience with motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of fashion design or construction painting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent creative skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly through sketches and presentations. This position provides an excellent platform for aspiring interior designers to develop their skills across various digital media while contributing to innovative interior projects within a professional environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,180.13-$40,000.00 per year
