Locum Family Physician

Locum Family Physician - Approximately three (3) months
Flexible scheduling up to 37.5 hours a week
Competitive Locum hourly rate: invoice paid bi-weekly
Working within an interdisciplinary team at our Centre, our primary health team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and administrative support. There are no administrative expenses or OHIP billing as a Locum with our Centre.
Qualifications:
*General license to practice and current member, in good standing, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
*CCFP Certification an asset.
*Ability to perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counseling and other medical functions as required according to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario standards of practice and the Centre's policies and procedures.

The West Elgin Community Health Centre has been serving rural communities for 30 years, focusing on improving the health and wellbeing of people and communities. The Centre provides primary health care, illness prevention, and health promotion services as well as community programs primarily to the residents of Dutton Dunwich and West Elgin municipalities, with diabetes services available at multiple locations in Elgin County.
