Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential in assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in restaurant or hotel settings preferred.

Duties

  • Help with dishwashing and sanitation to ensure compliance with health standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
  • Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
  • Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
  • Organize and store ingredients and supplies appropriately
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to promote a safe working environment

Skills

  • Experience in food handling, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
  • Strong understanding of cleaning protocols and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food service operations and hospitality practices is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
