The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting the company's trucking and logistics services. This role involves generating leads, presenting service offerings, preparing quotations, and meeting sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new clients in industries requiring trucking, freight, and logistics services.
  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, and online outreach to generate leads and strengthen business relationships.
  • Prepare and send rate quotations, proposals, and contracts to potential and existing customers.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate with the operations and dispatch teams to ensure accurate service delivery based on client requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve sales tactics.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using internal systems.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, trade events, and networking activities to promote the company's services.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in trucking, logistics, freight forwarding, or sales (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of transportation services, freight rates, and industry terminologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license.
