Location: GTA East of Toronto to Kington Area (Remote / Home Office)
Reports to: Key Account Manager in Ontario

Position Summary
We're looking for a motivated and technically minded Technical Sales Representative to join our growing Canadian team.
Working from a home office in the GTA, you will help expand our customer base in Ontario and Western Canada by identifying opportunities, supporting technical evaluations, and promoting SIC Marking's product range.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys combining technical knowledge, problem-solving, and customer interaction in an industrial sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in assigned territories (primarily Ontario).
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable SIC Marking solutions (dot-peen, laser, and scribe marking systems).
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations with support from senior sales and engineering teams.
- Conduct on-site and virtual product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and manage follow-up activities.
- Represent SIC Marking Canada at trade shows, open houses, and industry events.
- Travel to customer sites (approx. 50% travel, mainly within Ontario).
- Provide Level 1 and 2 training and local after sales-support.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Sales, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial automation, manufacturing equipment, or related technology.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments or marking/traceability solutions is an asset (training provided).
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills — able to discuss technical products clearly and confidently.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Sage X3, HubSpot).
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for customer visits.
- Fluent in English
