Overview

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Supervisor to lead our construction team with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and other construction personnel on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and documentation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
  • Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work performed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Train and mentor junior carpenters in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control practices.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members efficiently.
