Martech Motor Winding Ltd. is looking to immediately hire a Shipper Receiver / Sales to join our Castlegar, BC operations This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and customer-focused individual to support the efficient flow of goods while assisting with outside sales activities. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on warehouse work, logistics coordination, and customer interaction.

Martech Motor Winding is an electric motor repair and rewind facility that has supported industrial, commercial, and residential clients throughout the West Kootenays and BC Interior for over 30 years. We offer additional services in the fields of pump repairs, welding machine repairs, and standby generators.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Logistics & Shipping/Receiving

  • Plan, schedule, and manage all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Complete receiving tasks: inspect, verify, and record incoming goods
  • Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to company and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate shipment documentation; track and trace deliveries and provide status updates to customers
  • Review freight invoices, create freight POs, and assist with freight spend analysis
  • Load and unload trucks, arrange pickups, and ensure goods are organized for distribution

Warehouse & Fulfillment

  • Organize warehouse and yard areas; stock shelves and maintain a clean, orderly working environment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and replenish stock as required
  • Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts
  • Assist customers and internal teams with order inquiries and logistics information

Outside Sales Support

  • Support the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and related sales documentation

  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and process customer orders

  • Other duties as required by the department.

Job Details:

  • Full-Time position available immediately
  • The role is based out of our 1700 Woodland Drive, Castlegar BC facility
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM (40 hours a week)
  • Benefits are available through the IBEW Local#1003 Martech Motor Winding Agreement
  • Pay to be based on experience/training/education.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in shipping and receiving preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SAGE 300
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-service focused with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift experience considered an asset
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
