ELECTRICIAN

The Electrician position is an impactful role that reports to the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blue prints, drawings, and specifications; installing, replacing, and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes; testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits; troubleshooting and isolating faults on electrical and mechanical systems and devices; conducting preventative maintenance programs; and adhering to Company rules, Health and Safety guidelines and the Collective Labour Agreement.

The successful candidate will possess a Trade Certification as a Construction and Maintenance Electrician (309A). Consideration will be given to an individual in possession of an Industrial Electrician (442A) certification. A minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in a heavy industrial setting with forge equipment, cold form equipment, CNC machinery and assembly stations, as well as previous experience with robots and automated systems. Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills combined with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
