Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Social Media Content Creator, based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging social media content across multiple platforms, developing content calendars, and executing content strategies. Additional responsibilities include monitoring trends, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with brand objectives. The selected candidate will engage with audiences to increase followers and drive engagement, ensuring messaging is consistent with the company's goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in social media content creation and platform-specific trends (such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, calendar planning, and brand consistency
  • Skills in analytics and performance measurement, with the ability to draw insights and optimize campaigns
  • Creativity and attention to detail in visual and written communication
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) and video editing tools is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on audience engagement
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Previous experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing is highly desirable
