Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our dynamic team within the financial services sector. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain complex financial models and algorithms to support investment strategies and risk management.
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Access, and other database tools to extract actionable insights.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards utilizing Tableau, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other visualization software to communicate findings clearly.
  • Conduct auditing and compliance reviews to ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Support budgeting processes through detailed analysis and forecasting using Excel, VBA, and accounting software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research projects related to investment opportunities and financial performance.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements through analysis of existing workflows and implementation of best practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in financial analytics, business intelligence tools, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven experience with SQL databases, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI; experience with PowerPoint for presentations is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software including Hyperion; experience with budgeting and auditing processes is a plus.
  • Expertise in Excel including VBA scripting; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French is highly desirable for effective communication across teams.
  • Excellent research capabilities combined with strong analysis skills tailored toward investment banking or financial services sectors.
  • Familiarity with investment strategies, financial modeling, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
