Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Panel Quilter/Border Quilter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quilting and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves working with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality quilted panels and borders, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every piece produced.

Duties

  • Operate quilting machines to produce quilted panels and borders according to specifications.
  • Select appropriate fabrics and materials for each project, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality output.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric usage and reporting shortages.

Skills

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Familiarity with quilting techniques and equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues as they arise.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
