Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. The Cleaning Technician will utilize hand and power tools, perform custodial duties, and ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in commercial spaces.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance to ensure all areas are in good working condition.
  • Manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments within designated timeframes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning products and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Previous custodial experience or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
