Contrans is the largest tank truck carrier based in Ontario, and we are hiring AZ Truck Drivers to our hub in Sudbury Canada only work We offer steady consistent work.

Our Sudbury Division deals with the hauling of various dry bulk commodities, including lime and petroleum-coke in pneumatic trailers. We offer lanes running to Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec, covering a 700-mile trip radius. Trips in the Sudbury Division can run up to a 70-hour cycle in the truck.

Details of the work:

  • We mainly deliver into mine site locations near and around cities and towns in Ontario and Northern Quebec such as Manitouwadge, Timmins, Cochrane, Dryden, Pickle Lake, Wawa, Dubreuilville, Rouyn Noranda, Joutel, Villebois.

  • Main loading location Carmeuse plant (between Blind River and Spragge ON)

  • The work is B-train and multi-axle (four & five axles) work

The requirements / info:

  • Most of the work will keep you in the truck for the week, however we also have some local work available that can get you home most evenings

  • 2-years of verifiable AZ driving experience

  • Must be able to climb on top of trailers to open and close hatches (Fall Safe PPE provided)
