Role: French Bilingual Windows Support
Location: Québec City, Quebec
Rate: CAD$25/HR on T4
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the point of contact for end-users seeking local technical assistance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams and track resolution progress
• Document technical problems and solutions in support ticketing systems
• Maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with IT policies
• Provide onboarding IT support to new hires, including setup of workstations and accounts
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common enterprise software
• Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Or equivalent technical training and work experience
Work Environment
• Hybrid or in-office environment, depending on company policy
• May require occasional evening or weekend support based on IT maintenance schedules
