Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is caring, energetic, and enthusiastic about supporting early learning through play-based activities and responsive caregiving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's development.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's growth.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs.
  • Maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alberta Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator certification (or equivalent provincial certification)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Level C certification
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
