Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring each client receives a personalized and satisfying experience.

Duties

  • Perform various massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
  • Conduct client consultations to understand their health concerns and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Document client treatments accurately in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments if necessary.
  • Uphold professional standards of conduct and confidentiality at all times.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills.

Experience

  • Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client health histories and treatment plans.
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required, along with state licensure or certification as applicable. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
