Casual Event Staff

Who are the Wilder?

The Wilder is a social enterprise which creates experiences for people to learn about nature, to connect with each other, and to inspire creativity. We produce events and winter festivals, create art installations and host activations for festivals

We are looking to expand our roster of casual event staff in Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish. We are looking for people experienced in event work, hospitality, production or similar. Event staff will have occasional opportunities to work on winter, arts and community events on a casual basis.

Who are you?

The hours are flexible, require some weekend and evening work, and are irregular and casual. We expect the candidate/s to work on some or all of the following tasks:

· Setting up installations and activations

· Setting up tents, signage, tables and chairs etc

· Event coordination, logistics, volunteer and staff coordination

· Site setup safety management, technical support, troubleshooting, being everywhere at once

We are looking for people who:

· Have a positive and can-do attitude, and are happy to help out wherever

· Have event, hospitality, production or experience relevant to event work

· Are friendly, customer-service oriented

· Can manage multiple tasks, making sure our events and activations run seamlessly, who can solve problems and adapt on the fly

· Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish candidates preferred
