Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated experienced Construction Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects and ensuring that operations run smoothly on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Duties

  • Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including stalling exterior siding, gutter, downpipe , soffits , wood work and sundeck vinyl etc
  • Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Measure and cut materials according to specifications under the guidance of experienced workers.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Language : Punjabi, English
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
