Class 3 Manual Dump Truck Driver / Skid Steer Operator

Seasonal (Winter) with Full-Time Opportunity.

Bizzy B Construction is hiring a reliable Class 3 manual dump truck driver for commercial snow removal this winter.

Skid steer experience is a strong asset and preferred.

We operate a fast-paced, high-efficiency commercial snow operation.

We are looking for motivated operators who can keep a strong pace, communicate well, and stay productive during active storms.

For candidates with strong performance and both dump truck + skid steer experience, this can transition into a full-time, year-round position supporting excavation and concrete work.

Winter Responsibilities (Commercial Snow Removal)

  • Driving a Class 3 manual tandem dump truck for commercial snow hauling
  • Working high-demand commercial sites during storm cycles
  • Maintaining efficient turnaround times and steady productivity
  • Rotating into a skid steer when required
  • Storm-dependent, on-call availability — mostly evenings into early mornings
  • Depending on the storm: day shift, night shift, or both

Note:

All units are GPS tracked for safety, route verification, and productivity to keep operations running smooth during storms.

This role suits operators who take pride in staying productive — not those who disappear or take unnecessary breaks.

Summer Responsibilities (Full-Time Opportunity)

The role may extend into a full-time position for candidates who demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and competence in both truck and skid steer operation.

Summer duties include:

  • Driving the tandem hauling a 20' trailer with skid steer + attachments
  • Breakout and removal of driveways, pads, and concrete slabs
  • Excavation, hauling and disposal of materials
  • Trucking in gravel, clay, base materials
  • Site preparation for concrete crews
  • Operating with minimal supervision once trained

Operators who excel will move toward the top end of the wage range.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 3 (manual) driver's license — must be confident and smooth with manual shifting
  • Experience driving tandem dump trucks
  • Skid steer experience (snow and/or excavation) strongly preferred
  • Ability to work fast, efficiently, and safely
  • Comfortable with storm hours, including overnights and early mornings
  • Strong work ethic and reliability — productivity matters
  • Able to haul and maneuver equipment safely

Note:

Final candidates must provide a recent Driver's Abstract upon request.

Compensation

  • $25–$35/hr, depending on experience and capability
  • Higher wages offered to proven operators with both truck + skid steer skill sets
  • Full-time, year-round opportunity available for the right candidate
