Job Overview

We're currently seeking an experienced Outbound Call Specialist for a short-term contract to support one of our federal government client projects. The successful candidate will play an important role in conducting outreach to approximately 500 target contacts, gathering insights, and logging outcomes to support the broader marketing and communications initiative.

Contract Overview:

  • Location: On-site at Accurate Creative's Ottawa office
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: Approximately 2 weeks (with potential for extension)
  • Hours: 30–40 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to approximately 500 pre-qualified targets (contact lists and scripts provided).
  • Represent Accurate Creative and our government client professionally and courteously on all calls.
  • Follow a structured calling script while adapting tone and pacing to each conversation.
  • Record call details, outcomes, and follow-up actions accurately in a provided tracking sheet or CRM.
  • Provide daily or weekly progress updates to the project manager.
  • Identify trends, challenges, or common questions arising from calls and report back to the project team.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times, adhering to privacy and data-handling standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of outbound calling or telemarketing experience, ideally in a professional or government-related setting.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is mandatory.
  • Exceptional English and French verbal communication skills and a confident, friendly phone presence.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to follow structured processes while exercising good judgment and adaptability.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently within a supportive team environment.

Compensation:

Hybrid Model (Base + Incentive)

  • $20/hour base rate + bonus per successful contact or qualified lead.
