Lloyd's Canada are seeking to recruit a Market Conduct, Licensing and Approvals, Associate.

Reporting to the Chief Agent Lloyd's Underwriters, Canada, this role provides support in achieving the Market Conduct Strategy in Canada. The primary role of the Market Conduct, Licensing and Approvals, Associate is supporting the Market Conduct team by overseeing applications and approvals for: sponsorships, new cover holders and Open Market correspondents.

The Market Conduct, Licensing and Approvals, Associate, will also help design and deliver the overall Lloyd's market conduct strategy in Canada.

Principal Accountabilities
Complete due diligence reviews and compile reports making recommendations for new

cover holders and Open Market Correspondent approvals.

Communicate with applicants/stakeholders to secure all required information regarding their

applications.

Manage all requests for license sponsorships for new, renewal, and restricted agent licenses. process termination of sponsorships, where required.

Complete Provincial licensing applications for Lloyd's insurer licenses.

Assist in Automobile regulatory requirements, such as; reporting, claims reviews, and forms

management.

Assist in interviews of new cover holder's requesting to offer Automobile insurance

Support investigations into market conduct issues, working with Canadian Market Conduct team

and London Delegated Authority.

Contribute to quarterly reporting to Lloyd's Underwriter's Canada, Branch Management.

Other tasks as needed.

Skills Knowledge And Experience
Previous experience working with Provincial regulators for agent/broker licensing (desirable).

Competent on Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Producing PowerPoint presentations.

Basic understanding of insurance market (desirable).

Ability to complete tasks-based activities.

Experience in carrying out basic data checking and analysis to ensure accurate reporting.

Ability to collate and work with other teams to obtain the desired information

Ability to resolve problems or issues relating to tasks or escalate to senior team members on a

timely basis

Organisational skills to manage varying filing systems and projects
